扬州大学中国乡土教育研究中心与南非中文教师协会签订合作谅解备忘录

1111日,扬州大学中国乡土教育研究中心(Centre for Chinese Homeland-Based Education at Yangzhou UniversityCCHEYU) 与南非中文教师协会 (Chinese Language Teachers Association in South Africa) 经沟通协商,本着深化友谊,互利共赢,促进中国南非两国民间文化交流,扩大中文国际化平台构建,推动中国乡土教育的国际化发展,践行助力两国经济文化合作的社会责任的意愿,签订合作谅解备忘录。

未来,合作双方将协同互助,依托“汉语桥”俱乐部(开普敦站)的平台开展丰富多彩的民间交流活动,包括语言文化赛事,乡土文创文旅活动等,为中南两国人文,经贸和乡土教育交流起带动作用,定期通过教师培训、学术研讨、青年互访、文化赛事等形式广泛在南非,乃至非洲国家进行中国乡土教育尤其是汉语教育品牌推广工作。

Relying on the platform of the "Chinese Bridge" Club in Cape Town, the two organizations will cooperate and assist each other to carry outa variety of non-governmental exchange activities such as language competitions, cultural events, and academic exchange,taking a leading role in the exchanges of culture, economy and education between China and South Africa. Two organizations will promote China education brands in South Africa and other African countries through teachers' training, academic exchange, and youth communication programs.

On November 11, 2021, the Centre for Chinese Homeland-Based Education at Yangzhou University (CCHEYU) and the Chinese Language Teachers Association in South Africa signed a cooperation memorandum of understanding, for the purpose of deepening friendship and mutual benefit.It aims to promote non-governmental cultural exchanges between China and South Africa, to expand the construction of the internationalization platform of the Chinese language, to promote the international development of Chinesehomeland-based education, and to practice the willingness oftaking the socialresponsibility for economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

1.背景介绍(Backgroung)

2016年,中文进入南非国民教育体系。20191月,南非中文教师协会正式注册成立,注册号码:2019/024674/08 英文名称:Chinese Language Teachers Association South Africa. 南非开普敦大学中文系马跃教授出任第一任协会主席,西开普大学武长虹博士出任协会秘书长。由南非各层次教育机构中从事中文教育工作的教师、研究人员,相关工作的管理人员、孔子学院/课堂、社区中文学校等相关机构的教师志愿者和从事中文教育工作的自由职业者等组成。南非中文教师协会的成立,标志了南非的中文教师及中文教学有了正规的地方资质管理机构。

乡土教育是培养国民关怀社会生活,认识自然和人文世界的起点。扬州大学中国乡土教育研究中心将发挥学校教育在文化多样性保护中的积极作用,将乡土语言、乡土历史、乡土地理、乡土自然景观、乡土艺术等文化形态融入乡土课程的多学科统整开发。中心将以中南合作为起点,逐步开拓海外华人的乡土教育,通过研究地方传统文化的域外传播和心理接受规律,探索牢固海外学生乡土精神继承的教育教学模式,致力于海外华人爱国爱乡爱土之情的“寻根 · 扎根 · 生根,进一步增强海外华人的故土认知和乡土情感。

In 2016, Chinese (Mandarin) was announced to be accepted as a second additional language by the South African's Basic Education Department.In January 2019, the Chinese Language Teachers Association in South Africa was formally registered and established in South Africa (registration number: 2019/024674/08). Professor Yue Ma (in The University of Cape Town) served as the first chairperson of the Association, and Dr Iris Wu (in The University of Western Cape) served as the secretary-general of the Association. The association is composed of language teachers, researchers engaged in Chinese language teaching and learning at all levels of educational institutions in South Africa.The establishment of the Chinese Language Teachers Association in South Africa is a milestone that marks the establishment of a formal local qualification management organization for Chinese teachers and Chinese teaching in South Africa.

Homeland-based education is the starting point to cultivate people's concern for social life and theunderstanding of the natural and humanistic world. The Centre for Chinese Homeland-Based Education at Yangzhou University will give full play to the positive role of school education in the protection of cultural diversities, by integrating local languages, local history, local geography, local natural landscapes, local arts and other cultural forms into the multi-disciplinary development of school courses.Starting from the China-South Africa cooperation, the centre will gradually develop the homeland-based education for overseas Chinese.The study of the extraterritorial dissemination of the Chinese culture and the psychological acceptance of overseas Chineseto the Chinese culture will explore a teaching model that firmly inherits the origin spirit of overseas Chinese students. A variety of activities will be organized under the principle of “seeking roots, taking roots and growing roots”, thus to enhance the overseas Chinese homeland cognition and feelings, and the love to their homeland China.

    2.项目负责人(Project Managers)

张大为:澳大利亚伍伦贡大学博士,瑞典卡罗琳斯卡学院博士后。于2021作为青年百人拔尖人才加入扬州大学教育科学学院。研究着重通过行为及脑科学手段,描述及提升儿童认知发展,已有10余项成果发表于SCI/SSCI期刊。

Prof. Dawei Zhang completed his Ph.D at the University of Wollongong Australia, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. In 2021, Dawei joined the School of Educational Science at Yangzhou University, as a recipient of the Young Hundred Talents Program. His work focuses on characterizing and enhancing the development of child cognition, with behavioural and brain research approaches. Dawei has over 10 peer-reviewed papers indexed by SCI/SSCI.

王艳:南京师范大学学前教育学博士,英国谢菲尔德大学童年研究中心(CSCY)访问学者,合作导师为该中心主任Penny Curtis教授。现研究方向为童年社会学、儿童文化及儿童艺术教育。在《学前教育研究》《当代教育科学》等学术期刊发表论文多篇,主持教育部人文社会科学研究项目、江苏省高校哲学社科基金等项目。

Dr. Yan Wang obtained the Ph.D in Early Childhood Education from Nanjing Normal University. She was a visiting scholar in Interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of Childhood and Youth (CSCY), University of Sheffield, UK, under the supervision of the centre’s director, Professor Penny Curtis. She is now a lecturer working at School of Educational Science, Yangzhou University, China. Her current research interests include the sociology of childhood, children's culture and art education for children. She has published a number of research papers in Journal of Studies in Early Childhood Education, Contemporary Education Sciences, etc. Her research has been supported by Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of Ministry of Education of China, Philosophy and Social Science Fund of Higher Education institute of Jiangsu Province etc.
